7 Effective Homemade Protein Rich Hair Packs for Strong & Thick Hair

Protein Hair Gel 

To prepare a protein hair gel, you will need 3 tablespoon of flaxseed, 2 tablespoon of aloe vera sap, a little butter and some raw honey. You should boil the flaxseed in two cups of boiling water and leave it for few minutes under a low flame till it forms a thin bubbly gel. Just filter out the foamy fluid in a separate bowl. Now, to the bowl you can add aloe vera gel, butter and honey to make the protein hair gel. After the gel is cooled down you can run through this gel on your damp hairs. Cover each hair from root to tip and allow it to stay for 30 minutes and rinse it well.

Protein Reconstructing Hair Pack

To make this pack, you will need two tablespoon of gelatin powder, one egg white, two tablespoon of honey and two tablespoon of hair conditioner. Initially, you should completely dissolve the gelatin in half cup of warm water and then add egg white, honey and conditioner to it. Whisk all these ingredients well. Using a hair brush, start applying the pack on your damp hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse it with shampoo and conditioner later.

Mayonnaise and Avocado Hair Pack

Mix avocado and mayonnaise in a bowl and mash it until you get a creamy consistency. Apply this paste on your hairs, especially towards the end. In order to evenly distribute the pack you can use a wide toothed comb and spread it all over. This acts as a great conditioner for your hair

Egg and Yogurt Hair Mask 

Egg is full of protein and yogurt is rich in milk fat and lactic acid. This makes it the best homemade protein pack for a damaged hair. Take one or two eggs and mix equal amount of yogurt to it. If you have dandruff problem, lemon juice can also be added to it. Whisk all these ingredients together and apply on your hair by giving a stimulating feel to your scalp.

Banana Hair Mask 

Just mash one or two overripe bananas according to your hair length. Apply this mashed banana pack on your hair and allow it to dry for 10 minutes. This pack helps to maintain elasticity and enhance the health of your hair. If you are suffering from hair loss you can try this hair pack to strengthen your hair.

Hair Repair Mask 

To make the hair repair mask, you will need one egg yolk, some castor oil and honey. Just mix all these ingredients in a bowl and apply them on your hair from root to tip of your hair. Cover the pack using a shower cap and wrap with a hot towel. After 30 minutes you can give a rinse using shampoo and conditioner.

Coconut Milk 

To prepare the coconut milk you can grate the raw coconut and keep it in water for about 5 minutes. Strain the coconut milk by giving a nice squeeze for the grated coconut. Apply this milk on your scalp and spread it all over your hairs. Leave the milk to stay for 20 minutes and rinse well in lukewarm water.
